When visiting Vancouver, I instantly went to Lyndsay Sung of Coco Cake Land for some deliciously sweet recommendations. Amongst all of the delicious and tasty places she listed, Beaucoup Bakery definitely seemed right up my alley. And of course, it did not disappoint. Not only was everything about it positively adorable, the baked goods were also spectacular!
I love all the red and white patterned dishware in the bakery. They also had a wall of gorgeous, vintage cake stand and other home goods.
The croissant was definitely one of my favorites. As uber-flaky and rich as it looks.
Beaucoup’s version of a kouign amann! I didn’t end up getting it but it’s interesting how different it looks from B. Patisserie’s kougin amann.
Although I have this weird dislike for mixing fruits with my savory foods, I thoroughly enjoyed this pear, bleu cheese, walnut and rosemary tart. Although it seemed like the bleu cheese would be overwhelming, it was perfectly tempered by the pear and walnut. This is definitely a bakery to visit when in Vancouver!
