I thought I’d try something different to celebrate National Chocolate Day. With the help of Sarah from Escaping Neverland, we created a little video tutorial on how to create the best hot chocolate ever, i.e. a boozy hot chocolate. Rich, creamy, and spiked, this Kahlua hot chocolate is the perfect cold weather treat!
Ingredients (One large mug or two small mugs):
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- pinch of nutmeg
- 2 oz kahlua
- toppings: whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate syrup
Combine the first five ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour in the kahlua. Top with your favorite toppings!
